Ambassador of Belarus A.Stepus meets the Minister of Rural Affairs of Estonia

On February 1, 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Estonia, Anatoly Stepus, met with the Minister of Rural Affairs of Estonia, Tarmo Tamm.
The Co-Chair of the Belarusian-Estonian Advisory Group on Cooperation in Agriculture, Olavi Petron, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, taking into account the upcoming Estonian Presidency of the EU Council in the second half of 2017.
Special attention was paid to the promotion of cooperation within the EU initiative “Eastern Partnership”, as well as to the participation of Belarusian experts in international events organized by the Ministry of Rural Affairs of Estonia.
T.Tamm expressed interest in closer cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus, including in the field of dairy products and fish industries.
