Сonsultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Ghana

On August 1, 2018 Minsk hosted second round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Belarus and Ghana. The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrei Dapkiunas, the Ghanaian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Charles Owiredu.

The first round of political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Belarus and Ghana took place in April 2016 in Accra.

During the consultations,  the sides discussed topical issues on the bilateral agenda, current state and prospects for the development of the Belarusian-Ghanaian dialogue, including high-level talks, export of Belarusian educational and medical services, prospects for expanding legal framework of bilateral relations.

Special attention was paid to the development of trade relations and investment cooperation. The sides discussed possible priority steps in this direction.

The Heads of the Belarusian and Ghanaian delegations also exchanged views on the interaction of two states within the UN.
