Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus O.Kravchenko visits Croatia

On May 25-26, 2017 delegation of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oleg Kravchenko, pays a visit to the Republic of Croatia.

Within the framework of the visit, Zagreb hosted another round of Consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and Croatia.

The Croatian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Bakota.

The parties considered a wide range of issues of Belarusian-Croatian relations in the political, trade, economic and other spheres. Participants discussed cooperation between Belarus and the European Union, collaboration of the two countries within the framework of international and regional organizations, and topical issues of regional security.

The sides reached an agreement to organize bilateral events on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, including the holding of a joint business forum in Belarus.

On May 26, the Belarusian delegation will visit Rijeka to participate in the opening ceremony of the office of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus. Within the framework of the visit to Rijeka, O.Kravchenko will meet with the Mayor of the city. The Head of the Belarusian delegation will visit the Chamber of Economics of the Primorsko-Gorana Region of Croatia, and hold meetings with the President of the Chamber, the Honorary Consul of Belarus, as well as with representatives of business circles of the Croatian region.
