We thoroughly analyzed an advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice adopted by vote with no consensus among judges.

In this regard, we note that the Court considered whether there were legal international barriers for the Kosovo Assembly to adopt the declaration of independence of 17 February 2008.

We state that the Court did not provide an assessment over the right for Kosovo to separate from Serbia unilaterally.

In this regard, Belarus still believes that the settlement of the existing problem bearing on Kosovo status should be found on the basis of dialogue between all parties concerned with the engagement of the UN Security Council.
